Dizziness / Vertigo / Imbalance

Dizziness can be used to describe a variety of medical conditions. General descriptions of “dizziness” may include sensations of spinning, unsteadiness, light-headedness, disorientation, imbalance, clumsiness, wooziness, and/or visual difficulties. It is also very common for dizziness to be associated with mood fluctuations, anxiety, depression, short-term memory loss, poor concentration and cognitive abnormalities.

The most important aspect of understanding dizziness is to know where the problem is originating. Dizziness often occurs from abnormal functioning of the nervous system including the inner ear, eyes, and/or brain.

The NeuroSensory Center of Austin is equipped with the proprietary Sensory-View system which allows our specialist physicians to rapidly identify the source of your nervous system abnormality, assess the status and focus their treatment directly on the abnormal system.
